Ahmed founded the Association for Progressive African Youth (AJAP) in Nigeria and is the driving force behind its pioneering work. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Customer Relations Management from the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Customer Relation Management, Badagry, Lagos in 2016 and HND in Cooperative Studies & Economics from Kano State Polytechnic in 2014. He is a member of Nigerian Institute of Management(NIM) since 2017. He holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Stafford University Uganda Suu.

Our program aims to provide quality healthcare awareness and advocacy for young people. We promote quality adolescent and sexual reproductive health services for all young people in Nigeria. We also encourage strict adherence to COVID-19 protocols.

AJAP Nigeria contributes in making life more manageable for the less privileged in society. We create awareness for the creation of income-generating activities that enhance people lives.

Nigeria has greatly been affected by climate change. We believe in preserving our environment to serve us and to reduce the effects of climate change. We have planted trees to help sustain our environment and cushion the effects of climate change in some communities where we live.

We promote gender equality at all levels. We know that the effects of lack of peace and justice cause inequality. We focus our programs on the less privileged like Almajiri children, orphans and other vulnerable children, as well as persons living with disabilities. When their challenges are properly tackled, social problems will be greatly reduced.

We believe in partnering with like-minded organisations in bringing solutions to the challenges faced by the communities where we work. AJAP Nigeria believes in the beauty of the socio-cultural diversities in Nigeria. We promote good relationships between national and international young people in general and between its members in particular.

We advocate quality education, from basic school to tertiary level. We have interests in increasing girl child education in the north. We promote technological advancement in school circular. We promote vocational education to encourage skills acquisition for economic empowerment. AJAP Nigeria’s education initiatives focus on improving access to quality education and child development in basic school and Almajiri setting.

AJAP Nigeria believes that quality education is the foundation for sustainable development. We have successfully carried out projects in schools to improve the quality of children's lives and their access to inclusive education. Social ills in our society has been attributed to poverty and unemployment. Our country has been plunged into violent extremism, insurgency and banditry. The Almajiri children particularly are the most affected by such violence and the most in need of our support. Nigeria, like all countries, benefits from peace and economic growth. When citizens are gainfully employed and empowered, all source of crime and all forms of social problems will greatly reduce. This prompted the creation of our food distribution project. It is estimated that there are approximately ten million out-of-school children in Nigeria. Due to the financial burden of catering for these children, they are often sent to beg for food and items in order to earn a living which exposes them to danger and in extreme cases, death. To help these children, we initiated the distribution of basic learning materials to school children such as exercise books and pens. AJAP Nigeria is on strict compliance to COVID-19 protocols. We have campaigned for safety measures in reducing COVID-19 pandemic. We have distributed face masks and hand sanitizers to school children.
